Well, I have to say that having the refernce to look at would help... but given that we don't, I'll just do what I can. Here's a visual aide:
[link] The main problem here seems to be a lack of structural foundation to start the image. If you try to draw an arched line from the top of the head to the middle of the chin, it should intersect the middle of the nose, and the middle of the lips. As the Gold line indicats, there is a slight alignment issue. The eyes are also misaligned. The eyes are of roughly equal size, and there's a similarly sized gap between the two eyes (indicated by the red vertical lines). These should be aligned with eachother on the same axis (red horizontal). The eyebrows arch out from the bridge of the nose, as indicated by the yellow lines. The head looks a bit off, also, as the skull seems to slope up as you go back (as indicated in blue). Human skulls are usually more rounded, and the hair usually lays flat. ALL THAT BEING SAID, the individual structures (eyes, lips, the hair especially) look VERY well done. This could just be an issue of the reference model not being symetrical. thank you so much
i wish i could find the reference image, its something i found on deviantart, but just never bookmarked it after printing it. -- Want to have photos retouched or artistically manipulated?--check out my website for more details: [link] thanks
-- Want to have photos retouched or artistically manipulated?--check out my website for more details: [link] well, i think that there are some minor structural issues with this pic. like the alignment in the face seems a bit off and i think it may be because you didnt follow a curved pattern when placing the features probably just an up and down cross pattern. the detail on the eye looks really good and the shading looks really smooth but ti could benefit from some darker areas to make the whole thing pop a bit more.
