Description

To view this tutorial, please click fullview or download.

This tutorial was made based on using Photoshop 7, but many of the tools are the same in other versions of photoshop too.

A tutorial I'm working on that shows how to use some of the tools. Everything is color coded related to each tool.

This is not finished yet, I have a lot more to add, but I decided to upload this part now and just add to it as I finish more.

I hope you find this useful. (if you do any comments and suggestions are welcome)

And if you have something you'd like to learn more about or if you have any questions about what I've already covered in this tutorial, feel free to ask me :)

One of the few tutorials that I rarely see are guides to Photoshop's tools so it was refreshing to see this guide.

I liked the use of color in the first example of the toolbar to help separate and identify each of the tools covered in the tutorial and it was a good idea to utilize those same colors throughout the tutorial as an easy reference as to what each section covered. However, I think the colors were overdone and in some cases, particularly with yellow, the text gets hard or even impossible to read. It would be best to use only black text and then to separate the sections using colors or putting borders around the examples in the respective color.
While there is a lot of information here, the tutorial could benefit from being broken up into multiple pages so that you can include better, clearer information on each subject.
Lastly, the tutorial ends abruptly at the bottom with a blank white space. This seems like a mistake and should be cropped in closer to the last line of text or you could utilize this extra space to add more information to your tutorial.

I think it's a great start and you've got good subjects to cover, but it needs improvement.
